This technique is a Brazilian-base technique. First of all let me say it's the safest! Instead of using glue, small individual braids are tied with elastic thread holding the extensions in place. 500 braids are usually needed per head, with one gram of hair, that should do the trick. This gives the hair a full long natural look. Once they are complete, you can treat them just as you would your own hair; dye, wash brush etc. Brazilian hair extensions can be used on any hair type. Depending on how fast your hair grows, extensions can last three to six months, some adjustments may be needed within that time frame. Human hair is reuseable, so you can keep the same hair for a year and a half. However you may need to add alittle more hair.
This is a picture of the process
Miss Amber's on a quest from the US to Rio De Janeiro for someone to show her how to do this technique, I want to go!!! Watch this video, it's pretty cool:)
This is a picture of quality Brazilian hair, that can be straightened to silky straight but of course there are other qualities, this hair is quite expensive...
I hope this post helped to answer the question, "What is a Brazilian Weave" ladies!
